Book Launch "The Gentle Scholar"

New Book about John Webb [with forward by Maggi Vaughn]  

Our Archivist, Susan Howell, has been working with author Terry Barkley as he searched the archives writing his forthcoming book.  His book “The Gentle Scholar: The Forgotten Story of John M. Webb and the Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee," will be published by BrayBree Publishing on April 24 [this Friday].


Terry plans to visit campus this week for the launch of the book.  He will sign books for the Board of Trustees on Friday, and sign books at the alumni luncheon on Saturday.
