 AASL Highlights: Reflecting on a Productive Year

As the school year comes to a close, it’s a great time to reflect on some key highlights from our work at AASL as we look forward to the ALA summer conference and the upcoming AASL biannual conference in the fall.

This year, I’ve been excited to continue my role as Director-at-large for AASL, especially after a school year filled with virtual board meetings. I eagerly anticipate a productive and enriching experience at the ALA summer meetings in Philadelphia!

Here are just a few things I’ve been involved with this school year at AASL:

• Discussing my library leadership journey with members online at The Gathering.

• Co-authoring a Knowledge Quest article with a colleague from my school.

• Attending the last-ever LibLearnX in Phoenix.

• Participating in the AASL Instagram takeover with students from my school.
